This large scale development directly adjacent to Shanghai’s second biggest Hongqiao airport is part of a new CBD district catering mostly to finance and trading companies. The project comprises of 10 office buildings and an underground retail environment. Loop was engaged to propose and implement a new facade idea playing on the notion of providing a ‘family’ of design elements but giving individual character to each of the buildings. Further, also the design of public interiors such as entrance lobbies, typical floor layouts as well as the rooftop clubhouses.
